Since 2014, the world is continuously hearing the words ISIS, ISIL, Daesh and later IS. But who are the Islamic State? What is their ideology? Why so much brutality for Islam? We deserve to know the butchers of humanity and their philosophy.

As we all know every islamist terrorist group in the world is certainly Wahabi/Salafi. IS are no different. In fact they are the ones who are following Wahhabism in its purest and fullest form. They often quote in their videos Ibn Taymiyyah, the first Salafi scholar. A scholar criticized by many muslims for his extremist and radical views. IS fighters while on their rampage tour in Syria and Iraq blew many Shrines (Dargahs) of both Sufis and the Shias. They wear their trousers above their ankles. They put their hands above their navel while praying (Namaz). In fact there is a propaganda video of IS where they are shamelessly beheading a Sufi muslim who is very aged, because of his Sufi beliefs. What else can be told about the brutality and shamelessness of these animals.

But are these folks mentally challenged? Or “brainwashed” by certain people? Or doing all this for money (lol)? NO NO NO. It is the poison of Wahhabism that has filled their hearts and minds with so much hatred for anyone they consider unislamic be it the muslims themselves. In fact their hatred for Shias and Sufi Sunnis is more than that for Christians or other non muslims. We can see in their propaganda videos the extreme hatred they have for the Shias. They are continuously since their origin, killing shias brutally, blowing up their and Sufis’ shrines all around Iraq and Syria.

The modern wahabi state version the world can take a look at, is KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Saudis have the world’s most extreme Islamic laws for its citizens. It’s the Wahabi Islam of KSA which is responsible for this. The punishment for certain heinous crimes is beheading in public. Other punishments include flogging, chopping hands off, stoning to death etc. All these things are done as it is by IS in their controlled territories. In fact we never see IS attacking Wahabi mosques or Wahabi countries and even when they did attack Wahabi country KSA they targeted Shias or others who are not Wahabis. Not just this there have been strong accusations of nexus of KSA and IS. People have accused KSA of supporting IS behind the doors. They have been accused of funding IS, recruiting for IS and even providing academic Islamic material for IS. Food packets made in KSA were found with the IS fighters. Most interestingly the books IS uses to teach children in its Madarsas were Saudi published books which KSA uses in its own schools.

So we certainly see a nexus of Wahabis around the world with IS. Wahhabism is an unifying source for such people. Wahabi madarsas and mosques instill extremism and violent mindset into muslims’ minds and fill their hearts with hatred for the Kufar (the non muslims) and the Mushrikeen (muslims who are not true muslims and worship others along with allah). This afterwards result in the brainwashed radicalized new Wahabi muslim to seek the answers to his questions of jihad and pure islam. He then goes online and watches video of a “state” which is purely Islamic and Puritan i.e. Salafi/Wahabi. They then find an audio or video asking them to join the Islamic State and feel obliged to the state for even asking them or offering them a chance to join the real Jihad.  This is how it works. We forget to link the dots. We try to figure out all such incidents and structures independently without realizing the common factor binding, rebinding, provoking and brainwashing them i.e. WAHHABISM.

IS wearing new black attires, roaming the streets of Iraq and Syria in their brand new muscular SUVs keeping all the four indicators on, and brandishing their sophisticated weapons, have been successful in attracting large number of Wahabis from around the world and also the new converts to Islam from the west. They are feeding on Wahhabism. IS is the latest and biggest reason to restrict and ban Wahhabism throughout the world. And our peaceful muslim brothers need to amplify their voice against Wahhabism.
